Delmont Presbyterian is pleased to announce the recent calling of the Rev. Wayne Paul Barrett. Rev. Barrett’s service at DPC began on Nov. 10, 2008.

Rev. Barrett grew up near Youngstown Ohio but most recently lived in DeMotte, Indiana. He is thirty-five years old, married to his wife Jennifer and has three young children. He is a graduate of Hope College and Western Theological Seminary both located in Holland, Michigan. He earned a Master of Divinity degree in May 2005. He was ordained as a PC(USA) Presbyterian Minister of Word and Sacrament in Nov. 2005. In addition to his formal degrees, Rev. Barrett has participated in multiple conferences, internships and leadership training events.

Rev. Barrett leads two worship services each Sunday. A traditional service is held at 8:45 and a contemporary service at 11:00. The congregation of DPC welcomes the community to attend worship and meet Rev. Barrett.

Rev. Barrett was officially installed on Sunday Feb. 1, 2009.
